Project description

Technical study on extraction, development, rehabilitation and reserve calculation for two industrial granite quarries: the « Bouaké » Quarry and the «Abakro» Quarry.

As part of the development of granite deposits in the Republic of Côte d’Ivoire, the « SOROUBAT » group commissioned our consultancy « BUT Géologie » to carry out a technical study on extraction, development, rehabilitation and reserve calculation for two industrial granite quarries: the « Bouaké » Quarry and the « Abakro » Quarry.

This technical project on extraction, development, rehabilitation and reserve calculation for two industrial granite quarries, the « Bouaké » Quarry and the « Abakro » Quarry, covers the following chapters:

  • Description of the current condition of the two quarries.
  • Detailed description of the project: presentation of the extraction method and operations, proposing extraction and rehabilitation plans that comply with environmental standards and Digital Terrain Models « M.N.T » illustrating and describing the various stages of extraction, development and rehabilitation.
  • Calculation of recoverable reserves.
  • Works to open tracks and access routes to the working faces.
  • Preparation of a development and rehabilitation schedule.
