Tactical and strategic mineral exploration

  1. 01Preparation of geological and metallogenic syntheses at regional or national scale, accompanied by thematic mapping integrated with GIS.
  2. 02Identification and assessment of potential targets, including river sediments and soil geochemical analysis.
  3. 03Planning, execution and monitoring of exploration drilling campaigns, as well as geophysical and geochemical studies.
  4. 04Rigorous correlation and interpretation of data to guide decision-making and the direction of exploration programmes.

Pre-feasibility studies

  1. 01Technical and economic studies for various extraction and processing projects.
  2. 02Local assessment of reserves and quantification of available resources.
  3. 03Environmental feasibility analysis incorporating hydraulic, hydrogeological, ecological and socio-economic aspects, as well as geotechnical studies.

Quarry regulation and technical management

  1. 01Expertise in applying Tunisian regulations relating to mineral exploration and mining permits, as well as support in adapting to regulatory developments.
  2. 02Comprehensive assistance and monitoring of administrative procedures for obtaining exploration and operating permits and associated authorisations, including dossier preparation and drafting the required undertakings.
  3. 03Development and optimisation of extraction plans and working methods compliant with local standards, as well as planning of site development and rehabilitation programmes for various types of quarries (aggregates, sand, gypsum, granite, etc.).
  4. 04Technical advice on selecting equipment, mechanical plant, crushing and screening plants, and silica sand processing units, according to quarry characteristics, geological reserves and operators’ needs.
  5. 05Geological prospecting to identify and propose sites with mineral potential, including calcium carbonates, silica sands, clays and dimension stones suitable for polishing.
  6. 06Supervision of the design and implementation of blast plans and other technical and environmental studies.

Geological reconnaissance and mineral resource management

  1. 01Reconnaissance and assessment of reserves according to deposit quality.
  2. 02Monitoring of drilling campaigns and 3D geological modelling using modelling software (GEOVIA SURPAC & LEAPFROG GEO) for accurate resource and reserve estimation.
  3. 03Application of mining geostatistical methods to optimise the assessment and planning of extraction projects.
  4. 04Design of mining projects incorporating 3D modelling using modelling software (GEOVIA SURPAC & LEAPFROG GEO), mining flowsheet planning and mineral processing, including processing flowsheets.
  5. 05Detailed estimation of costs associated with mining operations.
  6. 06Technical assistance and comprehensive management of extraction sites, including supervision of drilling, blasting and related operations.
