Our work with Power King International is as follows:

  • Preparation of an environmental impact assessment to identify and then analyse the foreseeable direct and indirect environmental effects of the project to open an opencast gypsum mine at Djebel Er rouijel, Mezzouna delegation, Sid Bouzid governorate. This is followed by the identification of appropriate measures to eliminate, reduce and offset adverse environmental impacts, an estimate of the corresponding costs and, finally, the preparation of an Environmental Management Plan.
  • Preparation of a profitability study to calculate production, transport, processing, delivery and handling costs, together with various other expenses, in order to calculate forecast turnover.
  • Geological and structural exploration of the study site, together with mapping of the geological formations exposed there.
  • Preparation of technical studies that first describe the various projects relating to quarry exploitation and then present extraction methods, proposing master plans for exploitation, development and rehabilitation that comply with environmental standards, together with Digital Terrain Models « M.N.T » illustrating and describing the different stages of exploitation, development and rehabilitation.
  • Preparation and correlation of lithostratigraphic logs and geological cross-sections to characterise the lateral and vertical evolution of the geological formation targeted for extraction and its extent within the exploration permit area.
  • A geotechnical study including core drilling to estimate the depth and quality of the extractable rock (gypsum).
